Stephan Kulik
Editor-in-Chief, Therapy Tools Reviewed
Role
I run editorial operations for Therapy Tools Reviewed — independent reviews of AI therapy and mental-health software for consumers and therapists. I am responsible for testing methodology, source verification, pricing accuracy, and publishing cadence.
What I am — and what I am not
I am not a clinician. I do not hold a license to practise psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, or any form of clinical mental-health care. I do not give clinical advice.
All clinical content on this site is reviewed by a named licensed mental-health professional before publication. That reviewer's credentials, licence jurisdiction, and review date appear at the top of every clinically-reviewed page.
My editorial role is: product testing, pricing verification, feature-matrix construction, regulatory-context reporting (FDA, HIPAA, FTC actions), and sourcing discipline.
Editorial focus areas
- AI therapy and companion apps (Wysa, Woebot, Youper, Replika, Flourish, Earkick)
- Telemental-health and telepsychiatry (Talkiatry, Cerebral, BetterHelp) — with regulatory context
- Clinical documentation software for therapists (Mentalyc, Upheal, Blueprint, SimplePractice, AutoNotes, Twofold)
- Digital therapeutics (FDA-cleared DTx) — Reset, Reset-O, other prescription digital therapeutics
- Clinical-evidence synthesis (RCT coverage, systematic reviews)
